Amsterdam Beer Meetup Group

Let's roll the dice (again) and predict some warm weather on the evening of our next meet-up. There's nothing better than sitting on the terrace overlooking a canal in the city center sipping on a beer or three. If the weather turns south we can always grab a big table in back!

Easter Sunday at ‘t IJ again…

When I keep seeing rabbits with eggs it can only mean one thing. It’s time to organise the easter pissup again.

Sunday 4th April
Proeflokaal ‘t IJ
Funenkade 7 (There’s a big windmill there so you can’t miss it)
Doors open 15:00 (our tram gets us there about 5 past)

Your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to drink Passij till drinking more would be stupid.

Stupid happened around 7:30 last year but in 2008 we made it to closing time. Which is actually 8 o’clock. It was also snowing quite hard that day in 2008.

Could it be? Sun? Let's celebrate knowing the sun still exists with something amber in a glass. Cafe de Spuyt doesn't have a terrace to speak of, but the selection, location and atmosphere make up for it.
