Also known as Engelse Reet, it's the brownest cafe in Amsterdam. Located only steps off of Rokin, this cafe hosts a respectable list of beers and spirits. With no bar, the barman fetches your beer straight from the vat in the mysterious room out back, rather than the cellar. You can taste the difference.
