A visit to Utrecht cannot be complete without a stop at Kafe België. Mix 20 sometimes rare and mostly Belgian beers on tap and over 150 bottled with good, inexpensive food and you'll have a pub that's not easy to leave. The decor is basic, well lit and rarely quiet. The crowd is mixed, but mostly young alternative types and the staff on their off-hours. Don't underestimate the punk rock barmen, they're very friendly and know what their serving. The Radermacher Pear brandy makes for a great dessert.
